April 3rd & 4th 2012, 2nd edition of a multi-disciplinary professional gathering for the prevention, diagnostic, and treatment of surgical infections

Over 1,200 participants from some twenty countries and different specialties, both medical and technological, who daily contribute to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of surgical infections, are expected at this meeting.

The goals, taking into consideration of the environmental protection and the sustainable development, are to:

  • Structure and improve the management of infected patients;
  • Improve professional practices in the area of hygiene ;
  • Develop technologies and devising medical devices to limit risks together with the industries concerned;
  • Promote and explore fundamental research on the mechanisms underlying these as yet little known infections ;
  • Bring together practitioners in special medical and technological fields that contribute to the daily fight against infection

Aseptic Surgery Forum 2012 will benefit from the information collected during the first edition and its following evaluation report.

This first edition dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of surgical infection has gathered over 1.000 participants from some twenty countries and about sixty Exhibitors.

According from the evaluation report, 95% of the participants were satisfied with the overall organisation, conferences and exhibition. The comment and suggestion are taken into account for the organization of the coming edition in 2012.
